Mission: To schedule, track, communicate and deliver cjID projects on timely manner. The Digital Project Manager will help assist in the scheduling, managing and delivering on cjID client projects. This position is critical in providing good customer service by building trust and confidence through pro-active and professional communication. This position is representative for all cjID team and needs to always present the professionalism and expertise of the team and agency with the client. Attention to detail and the ability to think subjectively are key characteristics that are essential for the continued growth of the cjID team.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Work with Client Services, ID Leadership and clients to schedule new projects in WorkFront and communicate timelines to all necessary parties.
  • Track project status and provide updates to management, client services, and project team as needed. 
  • Work with Associate Director of Digital Operations and Project Coordinator to resolve project related issues and escalate larger challenges, as needed, to determine corrective actions.
  • Ensures deliverables are complete and project goals are met.
  • Create jobs for small tasks and updates in project management software.
  • Follow up on overdue tasks, adjust timelines as needed.
  • Work closely with Client Services and client through project process. Handle client communication as point person for the project and communicate to appropriate teams needed information.
  • Provide quality assurance on assets at strategic check points.
  • Work with Associate Director of Digital Operations and other team members to develop departmental processes.
  • Maintain, adjust, and communicate schedules to prioritize project assignments to team members.
  • Assist scheduling department meetings/huddles with Project Coordinator.
  • Run Project update huddles.
  • Develop client relationships to help build better customer service and partnerships.
  • Update historical and operational records for the department, including the site updates spreadsheet and process documentation.
  • Be department point for updates and accuracy of information on SharePoint site.
  • Builds and maintains all website project timelines, following the project from start to completion, which includes: identifying timeline expectations, project collisions, and resource requirements, while working directly with the Digital Product Manager, Associate Director and team leads to resolve scheduling/resource challenges.
  • Acts as one of the first point of contact for all client website update requests, prioritizing and communicating action items within the team members.
  • Funnels requests that seem to need more strategic process for collaboration with Digital Product Manager for input and direction prior to making team assignments.
  • Is the project lead for all projects, collaborating with the department assistant and Client Services to identify missing pieces, outline project expectations and requirements, schedule, manage resources, QA, and communication with clients.
  • Works with department assistant on communication with Client Services to insure clear, proper communication with client to manage reasonable expectations.
  • Creates, maintains, adjusts, and communicates schedules to prioritize project assignments to team members based on client expectations.
  • Evaluates resources based on project parameters to achieve successful delivery of project requirements and enable the success of all team members.
  • Ensures that projects within the Interactive department are completed on time and within the scope of work; resolves schedule and resource related issues and escalates larger challenges, as needed for resolution.
  • Tracks project status and provides updates to management, client services, project team, and clients as needed.
  • Provides, as needed, reports to upper management providing detailed project information such as task hours, client time distribution, itemized task lists.
  • Work with other team members and Associate Director of Digital Operations to develop, maintain and document departmental processes.
  • Coordinates Departmental Assistant project management responsibilities.

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience in the digital industry
  • Has 3–4 years of relevant project management experience
  • Ability to help mentor and grow junior project management team members
  • Strong communications and customer service skills
  • Possess knowledge of the digital space, all ID products and services and digital marketing
  • Experience working in digital industry
  • Ability to absorb information quickly, complete jobs quickly and accurately, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work effectively as part of a team or individuals
  • References to support focus on details
  • WorkFront experience preferred
